Currently banished to Hollywood...most likely as hellish, cosmic payback for some seriously bad behavior in a past lifetime...GEOFFREY ASHLEY is a writer, artist and sarcasm enthusiast who enjoys sci-fi, antiques and old cars.

He is especially kind to animals and the elderly and a number of people have told him he is an excellent tipper.

Also, he has an extensive collection of novelty t-shirts and all of his clocks are set to 24-hour time.


Coming of age in America's heartland fostered the twin survival mechanisms of a twisted sense of humor and a cutting sense of sarcasm. These were helped along by having a satellite dish -- one of those big-ass, analog ones -- which exposed him to influences ranging from Garry Shandling and John Waters to John Korty and Monty Python.

As a child, his aspiration to be both Han Solo and Captain Kirk, as well as George Lucas and Gene Roddenberry, led him to writing. And his writing led him to create FRONTIERS. He primarily writes comedy, science fiction and, at times, comedic science fiction. In fact, he gravitates toward many types of "genre" concepts, infusing dark, biting humor into all of them while subverting their conventions in surprising ways.

Veteran Los Angeles-based musician ROYD HASTON has joined the FRONTIERS: THE LIVE EXPERIENCE mix as composer, musical director and sound engineer.

Royd's experience as a professional musician, composer and producer spans 30 years and an endless variety of projects.

His clients include major studios and top corporations and his work encompasses composing music for television, film, film trailers and advertising campaigns, as well as custom designing the soundscapes for a host of various projects.


"Translating a modern science-fiction television project to the live stage is a difficult and daunting task...one that has never been tried like this before," said FRONTIERS writer and creator GEOFFREY ASHLEY. "The music and sound design Royd has composed for this show create an amazing aural universe that will bring the audience seamlessly into the FRONTIERS world. TODD DUFFEY -- the hysterical, hyper-kinetic purveyor of pizza shooters, shrimp poppers and extreme fajitas in the cult classic OFFICE SPACE -- has joined the cast of FRONTIERS: THE LIVE EXPERIENCE.

He plays "Kadzo Dazmanagon," a likable, tattoo-covered, alien antagonist who sets in motion a series of life changing events for our heroes.


Todd was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, but grew up in Texas after moving there at the age of three. He began acting in theatre in the third grade and, by the fourth grade, was performing in professional productions at the Alley Theatre in Houston.

In junior high, he moved to Dallas and began working in film. His breakthrough performance came in the independent feature ACROSS FIVE APRILS, for which he received the Western Heritage Award from the National Cowboy Museum.

After studying theatre at the Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, he advanced to the University of Texas, majoring in film and video arts. His film and television work includes his scenes-stealing turn as "Brian," the Chotchkie's waiter in OFFICE SPACE, "Scooter McNutty" in the classic children's series BARNEY AND FRIENDS, a recurring role on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and guest appearances on series ranging from CHARMED and THE DREW CAREY SHOW to WALKER, TEXAS RANGER and E.R.

Todd also champions a number of social and environmental causes in the Los Angeles area.

"When I was a kid, I wanted to be Han Solo and Captain Kirk, but I also wanted to be George Lucas and Gene Roddenberry. With FRONTIERS, I gave myself the chance to be all of them at once," Ashley said. "Sharing FRONTIERS and its amazing, expansive story with the world has been my passion project since I was 12-years-old. So, presenting the pilot episode as a live, interactive stage show in the HFF venue -- where an audience can experience all of its energy and fun -- is both a fantastic opportunity and a major stride toward that goal."
